BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's soccer team will hold tryouts on Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 5:30 p.m. at the team's practice field.
The tryout is open to all palyers who believe they have the ability to compete at the NCAA Division-I level. If successful, players will have to be compliant with NCAA rules and regulations.
To be eligible for tryouts, students must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at BGSU. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and graduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of nine credit hours for the fall semester.
Interested students also should show up to the tryout ready to play, and with the appropriate attire, including cleats and shin guards. Students are asked to contact BGSU men's soccer assistant coach Ken White via phone (419-372-7071) or e-mail (soccer@bgsu.edu) by Tuesday at noon to let the staff know they will be attending the tryout.
Students who would like to try out for the team, but are unable to attend on Tuesday, are still asked to contact the soccer office, as an additional tryout opportunity may be available for Wednesday, Aug. 29, at 5:30 p.m.
The men's soccer practice field is located directly east of Cochrane Soccer Stadium, just west of Doyt Perry Stadium.
