The Bowling Green State University men's golf team kicked off its 2008 Spring season on Monday, carding a 619 through 36 holes of the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate to place them in 12th.
Senior Jace Walker and sophomore Matt Schneider led the Orange and Brown, both firing a 153 through 36 holes. Walker opened with a 78, only to card a 75 in round two. Schneider went 76-77. Both are sitting in 35th overall.
Other Falcons competing were John Powers (154, T-44th), Trevor Spathelf (161, 67th), Russell Goodwin (162, 70th) and Bryan Mitchell (164, 74th).
