The Mid-American Conference will be hosting the 2008 football media day on Tuesday (July 29) in Ford Field, located in Detroit, Mich. To watch live interviews with players around the conference, along with fellow Bowling Green State University football players, Tyler Sheehan and Antonio Smith, please click here.
The MAC Football Media Preview and MAC Football Kickoff Luncheon will air live and both events will be available to the public as part of a free preview to the All-MACess package. The events will also be available on-demand following the event.
The media preview will give fans an inside look at the upcoming season of Mid-American Conference football as the head coaches and players of all 13 MAC schools will be interviewed.
Jeff Phelps will act as the emcee for the MAC Football Kickoff Luncheon. Fans will hear more from the league’s head coaches along with MAC Commissioner Rick Chryst and Gottfried. This will mark the third consecutive year an ESPN on-air personality has been featured as the luncheon's keynote speaker. In 2007 Chris Spielman delivered the keynote address, while Todd Blackledge spoke at the 2006 luncheon.
