Softball Continues Fall Ball with Two Tournaments

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University head coach Shannon Salsburg and the Falcons have continued to work hard on the diamond in preparation for the 2009 season and will compete in two more fall tournaments. The Falcons are set to take part in the KSU Invitational Softball Tournament (Sept. 28) and the Ohio Collegiate Charity Classic (Oct. 5).
This weekend the KSU Invitational Softball Tournament (Sept. 28) will pit the Falcons against some of the regions top teams. BG will start off the tournament against Pitt at 12:00 p.m. followed by Robert Morris at 2:00 p.m. and finally against Big Ten rival Ohio State at 4:00 p.m.
The Falcons will then return to action the following weekend at the Ohio Collegiate Charity Classic (Oct. 5), matching up against Dayton at 10:00 a.m., followed by re-match between the Falcons and Ohio State at 12:00 p.m. and finally Findlay at 4:00 p.m.
