Sunday Baseball Game At Northern Illinois Cancelled

Dekalb, Ill. - The final game of Bowling Green's three-game series with Northern Illinois today (Sunday) has been cancelled because of snow and cold. NIU took the first game of the series by a 6-4 count while the Falcons rebounded to post an 8-0 victory Saturday behind the three-hit pitching of sophomores Matt Malewitz and Charles Wooten.
Bowling Green will play their four games next week in the state of Michigan. Tuesday (March 31), BG travels to Ann Arbor, Mich. for a 3 p.m. game against their second Big Ten foe of the season, the University of Michigan, before battling Central Michigan next weekend in a three-game series in Mt. Pleasant. Games in the series with CMU will be played Friday (3:05 p.m.), Saturday (2:05 p.m.) and Sunday (1:05 p.m.).
Bowling Green has a 10-12 overall record and a 2-3 mark in Mid-American Conference play. The Falcons have won eight of their last 12 games.
