Falcons Finish at Hillsdale Relays

HILLSDALE, Mich. - Bowling Green State University finishes the non-scoring competition at Hillsdale College. The Falcons would finish the second day of the meet with 11 top-20 finishes.
The top finisher for the Falcons was senior Jamie Roflow. She finished seventh in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:46.27. Roflow would be followed in this event by junior Andrea Pereira de Almeida placing 11th timing in at 4:47.32.
Senior Kylie Korsnack would be the next top finisher for BGSU finishing ninth overall in the javelin, throwing 34.16 meters. Her performance would be followed by junior Paige Lane placing 14th throwing 30.24 meters and sophomore Jenah Wandell placing 19th throwing 28.58 meters.
In the discus event senior Whitney Hartman would end the event in 10th place hitting a distance of 42.30 meters. Freshman Jessie Rowland would also place in the top-20 for the discus with a throw of 39.82 meters, placing her in the 15th spot.
Sophomore Brittani McNeal ran a quick 25.01 seconds in the 200 meter dash to place in the 11th position. Teammate junior Shantell Lewis would place five spots below McNeal running a time of 25.69 seconds.
Freshman Heather Conger would be the first Falcon to finish in the 400 meter dash timing in at 58.54 seconds. Conger would place 15th overall out of the competition.
Junior Sabrina Forstein continued her consistency for BGSU placing 16th overall clearing a height of 3.25 meters in the pole vault.
The Falcons next competition will take place at the University of Toledo on Friday May 1st.
