Senior captain Cody Basler spent a few minutes with BGSUFalcons.com, in the third installment of "Talking Football With BGSU Captains." Get to know the linebacker a bit better and get his perspective on the 2009 football team by listening to the following audio:

• Will start the 2009 season as the Falcons' middle linebacker.
• Played in all 12 games, recording 42 tackles.
• Started two games in 2008 ... one coming versus Wyoming where he was named MAC East Defensive POW after recording six tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. His other start came in a 38-10 win at Toledo where he recorded a career-high 11 tackles.
