Unofficially, Tyler Sheehan was 18-for-33 passing for 286 yards and Aaron Pankratz went 12-for-18 for 166 yards as the Falcons held a team scrimmage on Saturday night (Aug. 15) under the lights at Doyt Perry Stadium.
Freshman Matt Schilz was 9-for-12 for 108 yards and Bart Tanski was 2-for-4 for eight yards.
Wide receiver Tyrone Pronty had four catches for a team-high 130 yards while Kamar Jorden led the team with seven catches and added 129 yards. Chris Scheidt had 71 receiving yards, Freddie Barnes added 66 yards and Ray Hutson finished with 62 yards as the Falcon offense stretched the field on numerous passes throughout the night.
On the ground, Erique Geiger led the way with 11 carries for 51 yards. Willie Geter had five rushes for 40 yards and Chris Bullock carried the ball seven times for 24 yards. John Pettigrew added four carries for 13 yards and Steven Dunlap rushed the ball three times for seven yards.
The highlight of the night came on the game's first play as senior Roger Williams took the opening kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown.
The Falcon home opener is just 18 days away when they will play host to Troy on Sept. 3.
