Camp Report #9; Falcons Complete Second Scrimmage

The offense showed a much more focused effort to concentrate on the running game in scrimmage two as compared to the scrimmage a week ago. The coaching staff got a good look at a pair of freshmen as Erique Geiger and John Pettigrew led the team in carries. Geiger put up the most impressive numbers from the backfield, finishing with a team high 16 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns, while Pettigrew had 13 carries for 13 yards. Junior Willie Geter had eight carries for 39 yards and senior Chris Bullock carried four times for 20 yards.
No. 1 quarterback Tyler Sheehan was just 6-for-21 passing for 92 yards and a touchdown, while Aaron Pankratz was 7-for-8 for 90 yards. Matt Schilz ended 5-for-12 for 36 yards and a touchdown and Bart Tanski was 3-for-8 for 41 yards. On the receiving end, Kamar Jorden had six catches for 78 yards and Chris Scheidt had three catches for 19 yards and a touchdown. Chris Wright was on the receiving end of a 44-yard scoring strike from Sheehan. Freddie Barnes and Adrian Hodges each had two catches.
