Important Fan Information for Sept. 26 BGSU vs. Boise State Game
September 16, 2009 | Football
Following their road game at Marshall, the BGSU Football team will return home to host Boise State in an ORANGE OUT on Saturday, September 26. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. under the lights at Doyt Perry Stadium. The Broncos will likely come to Bowling Green ranked in the top-10 nationally, making them the highest-ranked opponent to ever play at The Doyt.
Tickets are going fast, and given that, the crowd is tracking toward a potential sellout, please note the following:
*The game has been declared an ORANGE OUT…all fans are being encouraged to wear their favorite ORANGE Falcon gear, as well as take advantage of a couple special ORANGE OUT offers from BGSU Bookstore and Student Book Exchange (SBX) the week of the game (Monday-Saturday, September 21-26).
- BGSU Bookstore…FREE orange & white beads with any ORANGE purchase.
- Student Book Exchange (SBX)…10% OFF any one ORANGE Falcon apparel item.
*Due to an expected high volume of phone and walk-up orders at the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office (M-F, 9am-5pm) the week of the game, and at The Doyt on game day, (pending ticket availability), fans are being encouraged to purchase tickets in advance online through BGSUFALCONS.COM for the most convenient and time-efficient ticket purchase option/experience. Will Call will be available at the south ticket booth on the east side of Doyt Perry Stadium beginning at 4:00 p.m. the day of the game. Ticket sales (pending ticket availability) will be available only at that same booth at that time, with all other stadium ticket booths opening at 5:00 p.m. As always, gates to the stadium will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff (5:30 p.m.).
*Due to the expected crowd size, be sure to allow plenty of time for arrival, parking and entry into The Doyt prior to the scheduled 7:00 p.m. kickoff time. As always, fans are encouraged to make a full day out of their game experience by tailgating responsibly in the parking lots surrounding the stadium.
