ALL GONE! Boise State Football Game Sold Out!
September 25, 2009 | Football
The Bowling Green State University Athletic Ticket Office has announced that Saturday's football game against No. 8 Boise State is SOLD OUT. Given such, all fans are being encouraged to allow plenty of time for arrival, parking and entry into the stadium. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
For fans that have purchased tickets in advance for pick-up at Will Call, they will be available beginning at 4:00 p.m. from the ticket booths located on the east side of Doyt Perry Stadium.
As always, BGSU Students are being admitted free of charge, but both a ticket and a BGSU Student I.D. will be required for entry into the stadium. Student ticket pick-up is available at the Bowen-Thompson Student Union through 5:00 p.m. today, with any remaining student tickets being available for pick-up at a booth located just outside the primary student entrance (west side of the stadium, south gate) beginning when gates open at 5:30 p.m. A limited amount of student tickets remain, and student guest tickets are no longer available for purchase.
It marks the first time Doyt L. Perry Stadium has sold out since Oct. 25, 2003 when the Falcons hosted ESPN College Game Day and defeated No. 12 Northern Illinois 34-18. Saturday's crowd will be the largest since seats were removed behind each end zone for the new scoreboard in 2004 and the Sebo Athletic Center in 2007. Last year, Bowling Green hosted Minnesota in front of a near-sell out crowd of 23,184.
