BGSU Athletics Releases Football Ticket Information for 2010 Season

Bowling Green, Ohio – BGSU Athletics today released complete pricing and timeline information for the upcoming 2010 season of Falcon Football.
Set to kick-off the season on the road before hosting Marshall in their home opener on Saturday, September 18, the Falcons will play host to five games at Doyt Perry Stadium in 2010. Their complete schedule is expected to be released by the Mid-American Conference Office at some point in March.
Seat section types inside The Doyt have been re-structured beginning with the 2010 season to now only include Chairback Reserved and Bench Reserved. In addition, advance/walk-up single-game ticket pricing has been eliminated, with special Group Rates still available for 20 or more (in advance). Season ticket prices range from $65-$80 with a Falcon Flex Pack option also available for $112.

****Includes eight Bench Reserved ticket vouchers redeemable in any combination at any home game.

New season ticket orders may be placed starting Wednesday, February 3 in conjunction with National Signing Day by calling 877-BGSU TICKET or stopping by the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office in the main lobby of Anderson Arena/Memorial Hall (M-F, 9am-5pm). The season ticket renewal process will begin on March 22 and proceed as detailed in the timeline below. Season ticket renewals will once again include an online option.

BGSU Football is scheduled to play Michigan at The Big House in Ann Arbor on September 25, 2010. Bowling Green's ticket allotment for the game is limited, and given such, there will be three “reservation priority start dates” for Falcon fans and a “purchase opportunity window” for BGSU Students as detailed below:

Opportunity to purchase reserved tickets based on commitment to the 2010 BGSU Football season and the 2010-11 Falcon Club year by the June 18, 2010 deadline.

BGSU STUDENT PURCHASE OPPORTUNITY WINDOW****
Friday, April 16, 2010 – End of New Student Orientation
****750 tickets will be set aside for BGSU Students to purchase. Limit TWO (2) per student. A valid Student I.D. is required at the time of purchase. Purchase opportunity window will officially open at the 2010 Football Spring Game the evening of Friday, April 16, 2010. If the 750 tickets are not exhausted by the end of the window, an additional purchase opportunity window for no more than potentially 100 tickets will be scheduled at the beginning of the Fall 2010 semester.
>>> The game ticket price is expected to be $50-$55, but has yet to be finalized by the University of Michigan (as of January 29, 2010). They will only be available for purchase (based on the access guidelines above) over the phone at 877-BGSU TICKET and in-person at the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office (M-F, 9am-5pm).
>>> There will be a purchase limit of SIX (6) tickets per account. If the allotment is exhausted at any point, a waiting list will be maintained (first-come-first-serve) for any additional tickets that may become available.
>>> Eligibility to place reservation for BG-Michigan tickets based on 2009-10 Football Season Ticket Holder and/or Falcon Club status. Opportunity to purchase BG-Michigan tickets based on commitment to the 2010 BGSU Football season and/or the 2010-11 Falcon Club year. Fans not making full payment for 2010 Football Season Tickets and/or renewing their Falcon Club membership for 2010-11 by the deadline of Friday, June 18, 2010 at 5:00pm ET will lose their BG-Michigan ticket reservation and payment for them will not be processed.
