BGSU To Host Eventful ESPN Game On Nov. 10

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Department of Athletics announced today a handful of events and promotions taking place when BGSU football hosts Miami on Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. for The ESPN Game.
Beginning with a live broadcast of Norm Wamer's local radio show “The Front Row” from 3-6 p.m., all the way through the game, BGSU fans will be able to take advantage of a number of events.
The game will be televised live on ESPN2 as Bowling Green looks to build on a 17-14 win over defending Mid-American Conference champion Central Michigan.
All veterans and military personnel will receive free admission and family and friends will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for just $8. There will be special tributes and presentations in recognition of our veterans and troops throughout the game.
On top of that, there will be a number of giveaways as students in attendance will receive free handwarmers. There will also be $5,000 in “Doyt Dollars” distributed for free food at the game and over 1,000 t-shirts will be given away.
As well, John Quinn, the mayor of Bowling Green, will present a proclamation to President Dr. Carol A. Cartwright regarding BGSU's “true” Centennial on Nov. 10. Also, fans on the east side of the stadium will build one of the largest human ESPN signs in the world.
Finally, three fans will attempt field goals for $50, $100, and $150 in cash and a fourth fan will have a chance to kick a field goal for $40,000.
