Back on Dec. 26, 2009 the Bowling Green State University football team competed in a "Bowling For Beef" event with Idaho in Boise, Idaho, featuring the two teams in the Humanitarian Bowl. The event raised over 1,000 pounds of beef for local charities in Bowling Green, Ohio and Moscow, Idaho.
Today (Feb. 24) the Falcons presented Martha's Kitchen, with 590 pounds of beef which will help feed the homeless in the surrounding areas.
