BOWLING GEEN, Ohio -- As the days become fewer until the 2010 NFL Amatuer Draft, 15 current and former BGSU Falcons took to the turf at Doyt Perry Stadium to showcase their skills for 14 scouts from 14 different National Football League franchises.
Of the most current Bowling Green Falcons were Biletnikoff Award finalist Freddie Barnes and 2009 third team All-MAC quarterback Tyler Sheehan. Other Falcons fresh off of their collegiate football careers that brought their game to the turf were defensive backs Jahmal Brown, Jarett Sanderson, P.J. Mahone and Roder Williams. On the offensive side of the ball, running back Chris Bullock, wide receiver Chris Wright and tight end/full back Jimmy Scheidler performed in drills run by NFL combine scouts. From the special teams unit, Nick Iovinelli took snaps and kicked into the crisp Bowling Green wind.
Of the post graduate participates, five Falcons from the 2008 graduating class also suited up to receive looks for future employment. Linebacker Loren Hargrove, running back Dan Macon, defensive backs Kenny Lewis and Antonio Smith as well as place kicker Sinisa Vrvilo performed drills along with their former teammates.
