Morgan Named MAC East Defensive Player of the Week

Junior Keith Morgan, a member of the Bowling Green State University football team was named the Mid-American Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday morning (Sept. 6).
Morgan was second on the team with a career-high 11 tackles versus the Trojans. The Bellefontaine, Ohio, native also added his second career interception on the first play of the second quarter.
This is the second time in Morgan's career he was honored by the conference office. Last season Morgan returned an on-side kick versus Akron for a touchdown (41 yards), earning MAC East Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
Morgan and the Falcons return to action this Sat. (Sept. 11) on the road versus the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
