Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green State University video coordinator Chris Zuccaro has been named the 2011 Collegiate Sports Video Association's (CSVA) Mid-American Conference Video Coordinator of the Year.
Zuccaro, who works as the football video coordinator at BGSU as well as working with the Athletic Communications Department to produce general video content and web-streaming content for BGSUFalcons.com, was voted to receive the award by his peers. By earning the MAC Award, he is now a finalist for the Bob Matey National Video Coordinator of the Year award, which will be presented at the CSVA banquet on May 12.
The award is presented to an individual who possesses the qualities and attributes that exhumes the characteristics portrayed by the late Matey, video coordinator at Texas A&M. He developed and operated Texas A&M's video laboratory from 1987 until his death in 1997 and the Aggies were on the forefront of technological change.
