Men's Basketball Opens Foreign Tour With Win Over A-Game Hoops

Toronto, Canada - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team opened its foreign tour with an impressive 91-87 victory over A-Game Hoops Wednesday night in an exhibition game played at Seneca College.
A-Game Hoops (www.agamehoops.com) is Canada's first European development system with a roster full of former NCAA and European players. The team had just come off of a seven-point win over Atlantic 10 school Duquesne two nights earlier.
Dee Brown led a balanced Bowling Green effort with 14 points as the Falcons shot 58 percent from the field and made 5-of-7 three-pointers. A'uston Calhoun had 13 points and Scott Thomas added 12. Jordon Crawford knocked down three of the team's five three-pointers and ended with 10 points. The team also made 12-of-14 free-throws down the stretch to ice the game.
A-Game Hoops will get a rematch with Bowling Green Friday night at 7 pm and the Falcons will close out the foreign tour Saturday with a 7 p.m. game against Phase 1.
