The Bowling Green State University football team completed its Tuesday afternoon practice, just moments before the rain came pouring down inside Doyt Perry Stadium.
Highlight of the afternoon was a pair of touchdown catches from senior Eugene Cooper. One came on a perfect 25 yard throw from Matt Schilz to the corner of the end zone and the other was from the arm of Trent Hurley in the back of the end zone, where Cooper tip-toed his way to the touchdown reception.
The team also seemed to spend a lot of the practice working on red zone offense and defense. Justus Jones had a pair of fourth down touchdown (both fade routes) catches, but the defense was strong as well, making a handful of plays behind the line of scrimmage.
