Woods Named MAC East Defensive Player of the Week

Dwayne Woods, a member of the Bowling Green State University football team, was named Mid-American Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Week following his efforts this past Saturday. The announcement was made by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Woods had a game-high 12 tackles (8 solo), to go along with two tackles for loss, as the Falcons held Wyoming to 396 yards of total offense. The Cowboys entered last week's contest averaging 540 yards per game.
Woods leads BGSU with 22 tackles and 5.0 tackles for loss.
