Former Falcon Suisham Named AFC Special Teams Player Of The Week
October 11, 2012 | Football
Former Falcon, Shaun Suisham, has been named the AFC special teams player of the week for week five in the NFL. The weekly award is the second of his career, after winning the same award following week 9 of the 2007 season for the Washington Redskins. Suisham connected on all three field goals he attempted in the Pittsburgh Steelers 16-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. His final attempt, a 34-yarder, sailed through the uprights as time expired to give the Steelers the dramatic win. The game-winning field goal was Suisham's fifth game-winning field goal of his career. Suisham has hit all eight field goals he has attempted this season.
