Men's Basketball Wraps Up Big Weekend

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team wrapped up a successful weekend, holding its annual Orange and Brown Scrimmage Saturday afternoon, followed by the fourth annual Basket-Bowl on Sunday afternoon at Al-Mar Lanes.

In the Orange and Brown Scrimmage, the teams played two 12-minute halves, with the Brown winning the first 25-7 and the Orange taking the second 28-17. The teams followed with a 10-minute tiebreaker, which ended in an 11-11 tie. They followed with a two-minute overtime session, which was won by the Orange team on an A'uston Calhoun lay-up with 0.2 seconds remaining.
Calhoun led the Orange with 18 points and 12 rebounds after being held scoreless for the first half. Craig Sealey led the Orange with 18 points and eight rebounds. Four players sat out of the scrimmage, leaving just 10 players to compete in the game. Highlights of the scrimmage are available above and stats are listed below:
