BGSU Holds Basketball Tip-Off Dinner

Bowling Green, Ohio - The BGSU Athletics Department held the sixth annual Basketball Tip-Off Dinner Wednesday night in the Stroh Center. Both the men's and women's basketball coaching staffs introduced the 2012-13 teams and BGSU President Dr. Mary Ellen Mazey also spoke.

The BGSU men's basketball team will look to build on a postseason trip to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament a year ago. The Falcons will host an exhibition game against Central State on Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. and will open the regular season at home against Lake Erie on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.

The BGSU women's basketball team won the MAC regular season title a year ago and competed in the Women's National Invitation Tournament. The team hosts an exhibition game against Slippery Rock on Nov. 3 at noon before opening the regular season at home against Madonna on Nov. 10 at 1 p.m.
