Pettigrew Named MAC East Offensive Player of the Week

John Pettigrew, a member of the Bowling Green State University football team, was named Mid-American Conference East Division Offensive Player of the Week, following his efforts versus Buffalo. The announcement was made by the league office Monday afternoon.
The senior ran for 93 yards on a career-high 29 carries, helping the Falcons to a 21-7 win versus Buffalo at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Pettigrew added 33 yards through the air on three receptions, finishing the contest with 126 all-purpose yards.
The Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, native has 503 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the year, all single-season career-bests.
