Sullivan, Steffen Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Bobby Shea and track and field athlete Brooke Pleger.
Male Athlete of the Week
Mike Sullivan, a sophomore from Toronto, Ontario, recorded an assist on the lone Falcon power-play goal over the weekend, extending his career best three-game point streak. Sullivan also led the defense with two blocks against No. 3 Notre Dame and preserved his plus-7 on-ice rating this season, a team-best.
Female Athlete of the Week
Chrissy Steffen, a senior from Carmel, Ind., had a game-high 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting in a 79-69 win over Wyoming. She was a perfect 3-for-3 from downtown and scored 15 of her points in the first half. She hit back-to-back three-pointes in a 29-second stretch that gave BGSU the lead for good.
