SportsTime Ohio Selects BGSU Men’s Basketball Game For TV

Cleveland, Ohio – Bowling Green's men's basketball game at home against Kent State on Feb. 25 has been selected by SportsTime Ohio to be televised as part of the Mid-American Conference's partnership with STO.
The wild-card selection means that the tip time will be moved to 6 p.m. from an original 4 p.m. start time. The BGSU women's basketball team will host Miami (Ohio) at 1 p.m. earlier in the day.
The contest will be Bowling Green's fourth game broadcast by STO this year. The Falcons were also had televised games against Ohio and Eastern Michigan. Saturday's home game against Northern Illinois will be the third game televised by STO this year. Bowling Green was also on ESPNU for an early season contest at Georgia and played on the Big Ten Network against Michigan State. The Falcons also have seven local broadcasts courtesy of the Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN), including next Saturday's home game against rival Toledo.
Currently, Bowling Green and Kent State are jockeying for position in the East Division. The Falcons are 4-4 in conference play, while Kent State is 5-3. The top two teams in the MAC will earn byes directly to the MAC Tournament semifinals and the next best two teams will earn a bye to the quarterfinals. Right now, Kent State is tied for fourth and Bowling Green is just a game back.
