The Bowling Green State University football team held its Spring Game Player Draft on Wednesday morning on the second floor of the Sebo Center. Below are details on the morning draft as well as complete rosters for both teams and interviews with each of the top draft picks.
The coaching staff placed Chris Jones and Matt Schilz on opposite teams and asked each of them to make the first selection. Jones, who had the first pick in the 2012 draft, selected offensive guard, Jordon Roussos. Matt Schilz countered with defensive tackle Ted Ouellet.
The offensive line continued to go early as the Orange squad selected left tackle Fahn Cooper and the White sqaud picked middle lineback Dwayne Woods. In the third round Ryland Ward went to the Orange squad and Dominic Flewellyn joined the White team.
Each team was also advised by honorary coaches. The Orange squad was helped by John Wagner of the Toledo Blade and the White Squad was led by Jack Carle of the Sentinel-Tribune. Both coaches will also be on the sideline during Friday's Spring Game to help with strategy.
Complete rosters can be found at the top of this page.
