Bien, Imholz Named Papa John's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Papa John's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are baseball player Brian Bien and softball player Paris Imholz.
Male Athlete of the Week
Brian Bien, a freshman from Cincinnati, Ohio, went 7-for-17 (.412) in four games this week, helping the Falcons to a 2-2 record. Bien went 3-for-5 from the leadoff spot, scoring twice, in an 8-6 win over Wright State and then went 4-for-12 in a three-game weekend series at Miami, reaching base six times.
Female Athlete of the Week
Paris Imholz, a freshman from Antioch, Calif., extended her five-game winning streak this week, posting complete game victories against Eastern Kentucky and Toledo. She allowed just two earned runs in 18.0 innings, holding batter to nine hits and a .153 batting average. In a 4-0 week, she had two wins and two saves.
