Toledo Invite in the Books for Falcons

COMPLETE RESULTS
The Bowling Green State University track and field team completed the Toledo Invite and will now compete in the Mid-American Conference Championships next weekend.
Highlight of the meet was Felica Jefferson, who finished second in the 400 meters with a time of 58.03. Teammate, Allorian Horne finished fourth in the same event (58.72).
Allison Weimer continued her strong outdoor season, finishing third in the 800 meters in 2:18.71.
Taylor Sticher represented the Falcons in the distance events, finishing fourth in the 3,000 meters in a time of 11:17.59.
BGSU added a pair of fourth-place finish in the high jump with Krystin Reiser and Emily Gerkin posting a mark of 5-01.
Jeanette Pettigrew competed unattached (redshirting) for the Falcons, but was still impressive, finishing first in the 100 meters and third in the 200 meters with times of 11.95 and 24.97.
The Falcons will return to action next weekend in Mount Pleasant, Mich., for the 2012 MAC Championships. The three-day event begins on May 10.
