Sullivan, Grubb Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Mike Sullivan and tennis player Katie Grubb.
Male Athlete of the Week
Mike Sullivan, a sophomore from Toronto, Ontario, helped the BGSU hockey team to a 5-1 win over Michigan Tuesday night, marking the first win for the team at Yost Ice Arena since Nov. 20, 2009. Sullivan tied a career-high with two assists and added three blocked shots. He also had a plus-4 on-ice rating.
Female Athlete of the Week
Katie Grubb, a senior from Elkhart, Ind., went 6-1 on the weekend as the Falcons competed at the adidas/IU Winter Invitational. Two of the other three teams at the event are ranked by the ITA, but Grubb went 2-0 in singles with wins over players from Indiana and Marquette. She went 4-1 in doubles, competing with three different teammates.
