Greene Wins Fifth Ironman Of The Week

Bowling Green, Ohio - In voting by Bowling Green's fans, redshirt sophomore running back Travis Greene earned the Iron Workers 55 Ironman of the Game award for the fifth time after his performance against Miami last Tuesday.
The redshirt sophomore running back rushed for 112 yards on 14 carries. In the game, Greene became the 11th Falcon all-time to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for a single season, and the first since P.J. Pope in 2004.
Greene beat out BooBoo Gates, Matt Johnson, and Paul Swan for this week's award. BGSU plays Ohio tomorrow at 7:30 pm ET on ESPN3. Following the game, fans will again have the opportunity to vote for the Ironman of the Game by going to BGSUFalcons.com/Ironman.
