December 24, 2013 | Football
DETROIT, Mich. - Day two of Bowling Green State University's trip to the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl featured an action-packed morning, as the team practiced at Ford Field followed by a kickoff luncheon.
Tuesday morning's practice was the first time that the Falcons had returned to Ford Field since capturing the MAC Championship on December 6. The 90-minute practice session concluded with interviews with the Detroit media and local press on the field.
Following practice, the team returned to the Motor City Hotel's Sound Board, where they partook in a kickoff luncheon with Pittsburgh. At the luncheon, LCPB CEO Ken Hoffman, as well as former Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr, spoke.
The afternoon featured some down time for the players to relax and enjoy their game room at the hotel, which can be seen in the photo gallery above.
Tomorrow, the team will begin the day with their final walkthrough at Ford Field. After that, they will head back to the hotel for a Christmas Luncheon with the travel party. At night, the team will head to the movie theater to watch Anchorman 2.
