The Bowling Green State University's 2013 football schedule has been announced and will feature six home games and at least three contests that will be carried live on national television.
BGSU will open the season on Thurs., Aug. 29 versus Tulsa. This will be the third contest between the two schools since the 2007 GMAC Bowl. The two teams faced each other in week two of the 2010 season as well.
On Sept. 7 the Falcons will travel to Kent State to open Mid-American Conference play and will travel to Indiana the following week (Sept. 14). The Orange and Brown will also host Murray State (Sept. 21) and face Mississippi State (Oct. 12) to conclude the non-conference schedule.
In conference play, the Falcons will host Akron (Sept. 28), Massachusetts (Oct. 5), Toledo (Oct. 26) and Ohio (Nov. 12) and travel to Kent State (Sept. 7), Miami (Nov. 5), Eastern Michigan (Nov. 23) and Buffalo (Nov. 29). The contests versus the RedHawks (ESPNU/ESPN2), Bobcats (ESPNU/ESPN3) and Bulls (ESPNU/ESPN3) are scheduled for a national audience.
The season finale with the Bulls will be the third straight year the two teams have concluded the regular season versus each other.
