BGSU, 9-1 this season, ranked 74th by the ITA

The Bowling Green State University tennis team has entered the national rankings. The Falcons of head coach Penny Dean are listed in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Rankings, which were released earlier this week.

BGSU currently is ranked 74th nationally in the latest women's tennis Division I rankings, dated Tuesday (Feb. 26). The Falcons are the only Mid-American Conference team listed among the top-75 teams.

The Falcons are 9-1 in dual-match play this season, and BGSU has won nine consecutive matches since a road loss to then number-19 Notre Dame. BGSU is idle until a March 16 home match vs. Butler. That match will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Keefe Courts, weather permitting.
