Falcons Set to Compete in C & F Bank Invite

The Bowling Green State University men's golf team will continue their spring schedule by travelling to Williamsburg, Va., for the C & F Bank Intercollegiate on March 24-26. The 54-hole event will take place at the Kingsmill Resort on the River Course and will be hosted by The College of William and Mary.
BGSU will be joined by a large and competitive field of 32 teams, including Appalachian State, Binghamton, Boston College, Bucknell, Drake, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Florida State, George Mason, Georgetown, High Point, IPFW, James Madison, Longwood, Loyola (Md.), Marquette, Michigan, Mount St. Mary's, Notre Dame, Radford, Richmond, Rutgers, St. Joseph's, St. Peter's, Tennessee, Toledo, Towson, UNC Greensboro, William and Mary, Wright, State and Xavier.
The University of Missouri won the event last season with a team score of 870 (282-294-294).
The River Course will feature a par-71 and has hosted the PGA Michelob Open and also has hosted for the LPGA in the recent past.
The Falcons are coming off of a fifth place finish after shooting a team score of 916 (306-302-308) at the Triumph at Pauma Valley, which was held March 11-12 in Pauma Valley, Calif.
Making the trip for the Orange & Brown will be Wes Gates (72.95 avg.), Ryan Triller (75.17 avg.), Joe Cooper (78.54 avg.), Charlie Olson (76.37 avg.) and Chris Melvin (76.10).
