Travis Greene Earns Ironman Of The Game Award For Week 2

Bowling Green, Ohio - In voting by Bowling Green's fans, redshirt sophomore running back Travis Greene earned the Iron Workers 55 Ironman of the Game award for his performance against Kent State in week two this past Saturday.
Greene certainly earned the award, carrying the ball 24 times for a career-best 145 yards in the 41-22 win over Kent State. Greene also added his first career touchdown for the first score of the game. His 145 yards on the ground are the most for a BGSU running back since Anthon Samuel went for 181 yards against Ohio a year ago.
Greene beat out Matt Johnson, Shaun Joplin and Ryan Burbrink for the honor. BGSU faces Indiana Saturday at noon in a game televised on ESPNU (CLICK HERE for a preview). Following the game, fans will again have the opportunity to vote for the Ironman of the Game by going to BGSUFalcons.com/Ironman.
