William Houston Earns First Ironman Of The Game Award

Bowling Green, Ohio - In voting by Bowling Green fans, freshman running back William Houston earned the first Iron Workers Local 55 Ironman of the Game award for his performance against Tulsa in the season opener last Thursday.
Houston scored the first three touchdowns of his career in helping the Falcons to a 34-7 win over Conference USA preseason favorite Tulsa. All three of Houston's touchdowns and all of the Bowling Green touchdowns occurred in the second half after the Falcons led just 6-0 at the break.
Houston edged out BooBoo Gates, Ryan Burbrink and Cam Truss for the first award. BGSU faces Kent State Saturday at noon in a game televised on ESPN Regional (CLICK HERE for full details). Following the game, fans will again have the opportunity to vote for the Ironman of the Game by going to BGSUFalcons.com/Ironman.
