Flag flown over Capitol presented to Chris Kingston on Tuesday morning

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - On Tuesday (Jan. 21) Honorable Robert E. Latta, an Ohio State Representative in United States Congress, was in Bowling Green to present Director of Athletics and members of the 2013 football team with a flag flown over the United States Capitol Building in honor of the Falcons 2013 Mid-American Conference football championship.

The flag was flown over the Capitol on Thursday, December 12, 2013, following Bowling Green's 47-27 victory over previously unbeaten and nationally ranked Northern Illinois in the MAC Championship game. Captains Ronnie Goble, Jairus Campbell, BooBoo Gates, and Gabe Martin, along with Travis Greene and D.J. Lynch, were on hand to meet Representative Latta and take part in the presentation.
