Davidson Wins IronMan Of The Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- In voting by Bowling Green fans, true freshman punter Joe Davidson earned the Iron Workers 55 IronMan of the Game award for his performance at Ohio last Saturday.Â
Davidson averaged 47.8 yards per punt across eight kicks. The freshman booted punts of 57 and 62 yards, had four punts downed inside the 20 yard-line and three punts downed inside the 10 yard-line.Â
Davidson beat out Jude Adjei-Barimah, Brian Sutton and Travis Greene for this week's award. BGSU hosts Western Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 18, and the game can be viewed on ESPN3. The matchup is a part of Bowling Green's Legacy Weekend. Following the game, fans will again have the opportunity to vote for the Ironman of the Game by going to BGSUFalcons.com/Ironman.
