Falcons To Hold Intrasquad Meet Friday At 3:30 PM

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University indoor track and field team will hold its Orange vs. Brown intrasquad meet Friday at Perry Fieldhouse beginning at 3:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
The meet will feature 10 events and the squad will be broken up into two teams -- Orange and Brown. BGSU returns a strong nucleus from a squad that tied for eighth at the Mid-American Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships a year ago. Returners who scored points at last year's MAC Championships include seniors Brooke Pleger (weight throw/4th place) and Brittany Sinclair (1600 relay/7th place), juniors Jasmine Redman (5000/8th place), Demetra Taylor (1600 relay/7th place) and Alicia Arnold (1600 relay/7th place), and sophomore Makenzie Wheat (shot put/6th place). Sinclair is scheduled to compete in the 800 relay and the 1200 relay Friday, while Redman is slated to run the 3000. Taylor will compete in the 800 relay and 1200 relay, while Arnold is scheduled to take part in the 60, long jump and 1200 relay. Finally, Wheat will compete in the shot put.
