MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Day two at the 2014 Camellia Bowl featured a full slate for the Bowling Green State University football team, as the Falcons prepare to take on the South Alabama Jaguars on Saturday night. The day started nice and early with breakfast, meetings, and practice which took place at Alabama State University. Several local media here in Alabama were in attendance to take in a little bit of practice, as the Orange and Brown continue to fine-tune their game plan for Saturday night. Following practice, the team had some free time in the afternoon to enjoy the team lounge, and explore the immediate area around the team hotel.
The evening's festivities began with a tour of the Rosa Parks Museum, where the Falcons learned all about that historic event which took place on Dec. 1, 1955. The team was able to learn through video, interactive displays, and a walking tour of the museum. Following the museum tour, the team headed to dinner which was hosted by the Alabama Cattlemen's Association and the Alabama Seafood Association. Steak, seafood, and several other Alabama staples were featured in a trememdous spread.
After dinner, both teams were treated to a comedy routine by Roy Wood Jr. which had both the Falcons and Jaguars laughing all night long. A photo gallery and video interview with Jude Adjei-Barimah can be found at the top of this page.
