Clarke, Halfhill Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's basketball player Jehvon Clarke and women's basketball player Jillian Halfhill.
Male Athlete of the Week
Jehvon Clarke, a junior from Canton, Ohio, averaged 21.0 points, 6.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals while shooting 49 percent from the floor in two games this week. He had a career-high 23 points in a road loss at Toledo, adding eight assists. In BGSU's loss to Akron, Clarke had 19 points and banked in a game-tying three-pointer with 12 seconds to play.
Female Athlete of the Week
Jillian Halfhill, a senior from Canfield, Ohio, shot 72 percent from the field and averaged 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in two wins. She had a game-high 22 points on a career-best six three-pointers against Western Michigan. She followed that up by going 4-of-4 on three-pointers and scoring 17 points in BGSU's 91-45 win over Miami.
