Falcons Play Host To U.S. National Development Team In Exhibition Affair Friday

GAME INFORMATION
The Orange and Brown will take on the U.S. Development Team at the BGSU Ice Arena this Friday in an exhibition affair. It will mark the second exhibition tilt the Falcons have played this, and will mark the final game before BGSU plays their final four games against league opponents in the 2013-14 regular season.
Double Digits
Brent Tate scored his 10th goal of the season on Saturday night, giving him 10-9=19 on the season through 28 games played. The Falcons have four players with 10 or more goals, the most since the 2008-09 season.
Slumping Falcons
The Falcons have gone 1-4-1 over their last six games in league play, earning just three points during the stretch. It marks the second time this season the Falcons have gone 1-4-1 in a six-game stretch, doing it from Nov. 13-30.
Century Mark, Again?
The Falcons scored a total of four goals over the weekend against UAA, and is two goals shy off reaching 100 for the season. Under coach Bergeron, the Falcons have increased their goal scoring every season, scoring 74, 85 and 101 goals respectively in his first three seasons.
Offensive-Minded Falcons
With four games remaining in the regular season, the Orange and Brown are on pace to have their best offensive season under coach Bergeron in his fourth year. The Falcons are averaging 3.06 GPG, which is their highest average since the 2005-06 season.
Success Against The Seawolves
Cam Wojtala scored a goal for the Falcons in the first period against UAA on Friday night, giving him his fourth for the 2013-2014 season. Wojtala has scored three of his four goals this season against the Seawolves.
Point Streak Over
Adam Berkle failed to tally a point in the Falcons' 5-2 loss on Saturday night, breaking his season-long point streak of five games. Berkle tallied 3-3=6 during the stretch and now has 8-9=17 on the year. His eight goals for the season is a new career high.
Bergeron And The Media
Head coach Chris Bergeron took some time on Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 18) to meet with the media. His team is currently 13-13-6 overall, and 10-10-4 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). The Orange and Brown will take on the U.S. Development Team at the BGSU Ice Arena this Friday in an exhibition affair. The puck is scheduled to drop at 7:07 p.m. on Friday night.
