This spring season, the BGSU Athletic Communications office, along with both the men's and women's golf teams, will bring you a segment called "18 questions with" each week. This week's 18 questions are with freshman Fran Rodriguez.

1. What is your hometown?
Flower Mound, Texas
2. What is your favorite movie?
Pride & Prejudice
3. What is the most played song now on your IPOD?
Wanted by Hunter Hayes! Hunter is my favorite singer!
4. What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to spend time with friends and family!
5. Where is your favorite place to hang out at in BG?
I like the Student Union.
6. If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?
I would love to be able to fly.
7. When do you first start playing golf?
My freshman year of high school.
8. Who got you started playing golf?
My Dad.
9. What has been your favorite course to play?
I liked playing the Rawls Course in Lubbock. It's a fun course to play.
10. What is the toughest place you have ever played at?
I would have to say Tour 18. It's a difficult course!
11. What is your routine or ritual prior to playing a round of golf?
I always clean my clubs before a tournament or round. I also like to listen to music when I warm up.
12. What is the best advice you've ever received?
Always work hard and never give up.
13. Who is your favorite golfer?
Nick Watney! He is the one that gave me the advice in the question above!
14. Why did you choose to attend BGSU?
I loved the golf and Sport Management program here at BGSU!
15. What is your major of study?
Sport Management
16. What has been your favorite class at BGSU?
I really liked my Intro to Sport Management course.
17. What do you want to do after you graduate?
I would like to be able to work in the sports industry after graduation.
18. What is your favorite golf memory at BGSU?
When the whole team went to dinner after a tournament in Cleveland! A restaurant employee kept serenading us throughout our entire meal! It was awesome.
