In total, 12 Bowling Green State University Falcons were named to Phil Steele's Preseason All-MAC teams. BGSU is coming off their first MAC Championship in more than two decades. Head coach Dino Babers enters his first season at Bowling Green. Babers' #FalconFast offense will look to team up with Bowling Green's nationally-ranked defense as the Falcons look to defend the MAC Championship in 2014.
Johnson returns after starting the final 13 games last year. He passed for 3,467 yards and 25 touchdowns, while completing 64.2% of his passes. He threw just seven interceptions in 369 pass attempts. He was named MAC Championship Game MVP after passing for a career-high 393 yards and five touchdowns.
Greene made a successful transition from wide receiver to running back in 2013, rushing for a school-record 1,594 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also set a school-record with nine games of 100-plus yards, earning second team All-MAC.
Huettel, who earned second team All-MAC a season ago, looks to make a successful transition from right guard to center in 2014. Huettel has started all 27 games during his career at right guard. He was recently named to the Rimington Award preseason watch list, given annually to the nation's best center.
Thomas recorded 37 tackles and 7.0 tackles for loss last season from his defensive end position. He had six quarterback hurries, one fumble recovery, one sack, and one blocked kick a season ago.

He also had 2.0 sacks, one fumble recovery, and four quarterback hurries. Martin, who missed the final seven games of the season due to injury, recorded 36 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and four quarterback hurries.
