Six Falcons Recognized On Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference Office released the Academic All-MAC team for women's golf on Tuesday afternoon. Two Falcons—Kelsey Benson and Patricia Holt—were named first team, while four others garnered Honorable Mention. Bailey Arnold, Lily Bartell, Hannah Lewis, and Shelby Wilson were all recognized on the Honorable Mention team. To be recognized, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.2 grade point average while excelling with their play on the course.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
