Bowling Green, Ohio - With less than a month to go before the regular season opener on Nov. 14 at the Stroh Center, the Falcons laced up their Nikes and went back to work this week after hosting the 2015-16 BGSU Falcon Basketball Media Day on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
Head coach Michael Huger and his staff went back to work with the 2015-16 team, working on defense, rebounding and transition play for most of the practice. The Falcons ended the day on Thursday with a "live" scrimmage in which the team was divided into two teams and played against each other with officials to simulate an actual game.
After the team huddle breakdown to end the day, we caught up with junior guard Wes Alcegaire and sophomore guard Matt Fox to give us an update on preseason practice, the scrimmage and what the Falcons have been working on for the last few weeks.
