Falcons Raise Money Through Kroger's Sacks For Cash Program

BGSU Football will donate $700 to families in need
Bowling Green State University football will be on hand next Wednesday (Feb. 11) morning to take part in the annual Kroger "Sacks For Cash" program. The Falcons, who had 21 sacks during the 2014 regular season, donated $625 to the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank. For each sack during the season, Kroger donated $25 to the food bank.

Head football coach Dino Babers will be on hand to represent Bowling Green and the football program. University of Toledo head coach Matt Campbell will also be in attendance at the event. The two institutions donated more than $1,400 to local families in need through the "Sacks For Cash" program in 2014.
