May 13, 2015 | Falcon Club
Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Department of Athletics is holding a Falcon Coaches Caravan this week, visiting four cities in four days (for complete details, CLICK HERE). The coaches and staff began in the Cleveland/Akron area Monday and moved to Columbus Tuesday. On Wednesday, the caravan will be in Dayton and the trip will conclude in Indianapolis Thursday. Below is information from the first two legs of the journey, as well as video from the trip.
Day One - Cleveland/Akron
About 50 Falcon fans joined head coaches, staff and administrators from Bowling Green Athletics in the Cleveland/Akron area at the first stop on the Falcon Coaches Caravan.
The event offered the fans and alums in attendance the opportunity to mix and mingle with our head coaches, our athletics director, and with other Falcons in the area.
We look forward to building on this annual tour of the Falcon Nation and look forward to seeing all the Falcons in Columbus, Dayton, and Indianapolis on our final three stops.
Day Two - Columbus
Day two of our caravan took us to downtown Columbus. Dozens of Falcon fans came out to speak with our coaches, administration and staff and to learn about what's next for BG athletics.
The energy in the room was outstanding as the fans in attendance asked questions about our department's priorities, facilities and recruiting.
Chris Kingston, our athletics director, was able to talk about our need for increased scholarship support, facilities improvements, and coaching endowments.
We really hope the energy and excitement continues as we embark on a trip to our next stop, Dayton, on Wednesday.
