BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Athletics Ticket Office has announced that season tickets for recent graduates are on sale now. Season tickets for recent gradudates of BGSU are just $40 ($8/game) for this upcoming season. Those that graduated from BGSU in December '14 or May '15 are also eligible for a 'Buy One, Get One Free' season ticket package.
On top of recent graduates being eligible for the cheapest season ticket BGSU has to offer, several other great benefits are included. Recent graduates will be seated in an exclusive section with other recent graduates, on top of receiving complimentary parking (Falcon Club members only). Those that purchase their recent graduate season tickets will also be invited to an exclusive season ticket holder event as the 2015 season approaches.
BGSU opens the season with four non-conference games, including three against schools from the SEC or Big Ten. After playing Tennessee, the Falcons will play at Maryland Sept. 12 before hosting Memphis Sept. 19 at 3 pm for the home opener and Family Weekend. Bowling Green will be back on the road Sept. 26 at Purdue before beginning Mid-American Conference action at Buffalo Oct. 3. Home MAC games include UMass on Oct. 10, Akron on Oct. 17 at 3 pm for Homecoming, Ohio on Nov. 4 at 8 pm, and Toledo on Nov. 17.
Â
Bowling Green is the back-to-back defending MAC East Division champions. The Falcons won the MAC Championship in 2013 and earned a victory in the inaugural Camellia Bowl in 2014 with a 33-28 win over South Alabama. According to Phil Steele (on his website PhilSteele.com), one of the most-respected authorities on college football, BGSU will be one of the most experienced teams in the country in the 2015. The Falcons rank second in the nation in offensive line starts returning, seventh in total experience returning, 11th in lettermen returning and 13th in percentage of yards returning.
